Learn to get yourself out of repetitive negative emotional states, like anger, anxiety & sadness.

This class helps people help themselves.  Here are just a few examples of things it can help you do:

  • Increase motivation

  • Stop compulsive behaviors and addictions

  • Resolve conflicts in personal relationships

  • Gain awareness of your own internal dialogue

  • Learn to listen to emotions in a healthy way

This group is designed to help you learn about yourself and others. You’ll learn new ways to think about things; this can help you examine old, limiting beliefs you carry and decide if you want to change them for yourself.

An important aspect of this group is the strong support you’ll find from others, and eventually from yourself. You will have the chance to practice giving and receiving support in a new way. Most people experience that they internalize the support they receive in group and go on feeling increased support even after the group has ended!

Another positive effect of this group is learning to feel empowered! You’ll learn how to give yourself permission to be powerful in your life, and how to avoid invitations to negative behaviors.

This group is for people who experience:

  • Psychological Distress

  • Addictions/Using Behaviors

  • Depression

  • Loneliness

  • Low-Self Esteem

  • Anxiety

  • Powerlessness

  • Abuse

In addition, people who have been in this group have described having:

  • Emotions that are so intense or painful they are hard to manage, or numbness and an absence of emotion.

  • Behavior problems; impulsive actions that lead to trouble and regrets, or difficulty doing anything at all.

  • Relationship instability; arguments, fights, and break-ups, or a lack of supportive relationships.

These are just some of the symptoms that people in this group have experienced. If you experience any of these symptoms, this group may be for you.
