EMOTIONal intelligence + personal EFFECTIVENESS

a therapeutic class for adults

This class helps people help themselves.  Here are just a few examples of things it can help you do:

Increase motivation; increase interest + investment in YOUR life; stop compulsive behaviors and addictions; change patterns you have felt stuck in; be who you really are; stop having conflict in your relationships; stop getting stuck in negative emotion states like anger, anxiety, or sadness; gain awareness of how you parent yourself internally; be active and assertive; be powerful in your life.

You will learn about yourself and others.  You will learn new vocabulary and ways to think about things.  This can help you examine old, limiting beliefs you carry and decide if you want to change them for yourself.

This group is very supportive.  You will have the chance to practice giving and receiving support — in a new way.  Most people experience that they internalize the support they receive in group and go on feeling increased support thereafter. (Yes, after the group has ended!)

Similarly, the group in very empowering.  Most people internalize the permission and invitation to be powerful in their lives and go on feeling and acting powerful, after the group is over.
